Heat treatment

Sauter Bachmann has its own state-of-the-art heat treatment facilities. Combined with many years of experience, this enables Sauter Bachmann to carry out various thermal treatments of the demanding gears in-house. The customer benefits both from the short distances as well as from the qualified processes at the highest level (NADCAP).

The following heat treatments can be carried out internally at Sauter Bachmann:

• case hardening
• gas nitriding
• low stress annealing
• quenching in a salt bath or oil bath 
• deep-freezing down to -80° C
• shrinking
