Leadership transition Sauter Bachmann

We are pleased to announce the following leadership transition:
Wolfgang Stefanelli has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 2026. Wolfgang Stefanelli brings extensive executive leadership experience in industrial manufacturing and will lead Sauter Bachmann’s continued focus on operational excellence, customer support, and sustainable long-term growth.
Effective July 2026, the Board of Directors has been reconstituted and now comprises Guido Pinna (Chairman), Stefan Zatti (representing SIC Group) and Max Bachmann. Guido Pinna and Stefan Zatti each bring many years of leadership experience in the aerospace and manufacturing industries and will help guide the company’s long-term development. Max Bachmann continues to play an active role in the company’s strategic direction and customer relationships. Max Bachmann and SIC Group remain the company’s principal shareholders.
With its permanent leadership team now in place, Sauter Bachmann is well positioned to build on its long-standing customer commitments through continued investment in engineering, manufacturing capabilities and operational excellence, including the expansion of heat treatment and special process capabilities at our Netstal facility in Switzerland. These investments further strengthen our ability to support both existing customer programmes and future opportunities.
